From the very first minute I felt myself slowing down. Hayo gave us all the time we needed to arrive before surprising us with fresh eggs, avocados and wonderful local recommendations. The hottub, sauna, and yoga platform have amazing views over the valley. I'll definitely be back.
A wonderfully unique experience surrounded by breathtaking scenery and complete tranquillity. The children loved exploring the gardens, feeding the chickens and playing for hours outside, while we enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and beautiful surroundings. Yes. Each of our three sanctuaries can be booked individually for families, friends, small groups and teams.
Yes. The farm is designed around outdoor life, and children are warmly welcomed. We provide toys in the sanctuaries and a range of child-friendly kitchen items as well.
Monte Valeo sits in the green hills between Málaga and Marbella — a 30-minute drive on a good road. Taxis are also available.
Your sanctuary — house, garden, terrace and pool — is entirely yours. Only the wider farm facilities are shared with guests staying in our other homes. You can book the wellness area for a private session.
No. We never combine holiday stays with retreats. When a retreat is taking place, the retreat group has exclusive use of the retreat accommodation and wider farm, and no holiday stays are accepted.
Yes. When you host a retreat at Monte Valeo, Casa con Alma and Casita de la Luz are reserved together exclusively for your group, along with exclusive use of the wider farm. We do not accept holiday stays during your retreat, so you can create your experience with complete privacy and without other guests on the farm.
We recommend one. The farm sits in the countryside, and a car makes it easy to reach villages, beaches and the mountains around us.
If you are hosting a retreat, yes — the wellness area is included. If you are staying with us for a holiday, the yoga platform and barn gym are included throughout your stay, as well as one private 3-hour wellness session with access to the sauna and hot tub. Additional private wellness sessions can be booked for €40 per 3-hour session. The ice bath is available with guidance only and can be arranged with us during your stay.
The pools of Villa Valeo and Casa Con Alma are open year-round. Casa Con Alma's pool can be heated on request for €200 per week, extending swimming into the cooler season. Casita de la Luz is open through the warmer months (1 April to 31 October).

The towns of Coín and Alhaurín el Grande are around 7 minutes away by car, with supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and local shops. Málaga, Marbella and the coast are around 30 minutes away.
Monte Valeo is designed to be largely self-sufficient, with our own water source and solar energy — without compromising on comfort. All sanctuaries have electricity, hot water, air conditioning and heating, and high-speed internet.
We love animals, but unfortunately guests cannot bring their own pets. Monte Valeo is a working farm with free-roaming chickens, ducks and other animals, and this helps us keep them safe.
Yes. Monte Valeo is around 30 minutes from Málaga Airport and is easily accessible by car. The road to the farm and all the way to the sanctuaries is fully paved — no dirt roads or 4x4 required.
